Rt. Rev. Douglas Smith, OCCA Bishop in Monona, WI
Doug was originally ordained in the Episcopal Church in June of 1972.
He joined the OCCA in February of 2005.
He also has served as an interim minister for two Unitarian Universalist congregations.
With OCCA he is bishop for several clergy serving in pastoral/social ministries.
His secular job is teaching for the University of Wisconsin's Department of Continuing Studies, where he is the lead instructor for a grief counseling certificate program as well as teaching several other courses.
He also does consulting and training for hospices in the U.S. and Canada.

His education includes MDiv, MA and MS degrees.
He and his partner, Tara, share four children together, ranging in age from 11 to 35 years old.
